About the Conference
3rd Annual National Paediatric Conference on children infected and affected by HIV will be held in Kigali from 2nd to 4th December 2007.
This meeting will bring together about 350 participants from international, national, district and community level to discuss the theme, "Focus on Decentralisation" and to show case, success and challenges of HIV interventions focussing on children around the 4Ps:
(i) Prevention among adolescents and young people;
(ii) PMTCT;
(iii) Protection of children affected by HIV and AIDS and;
(iv) Paediatric Treatment, care and support.
The theme of the 3rd Annual Paediatric Conference is: "A Focus on Decentralization in prevention, protection, care, treatment and support for children infected and affected by HIV and AIDS."
